first of all a ';grain of rice'; size is enough to do two eyes.apply using your ring finger to your orbital bone.do not go close to your eyes, just on the bone.the skin round your eye is as thin as one ply of tissue so is very delicate,if you put it too close it ';migrates';towards your eye and this is what causes puffiness.less is defiantly more where the eyes are concerned. How do I apply eye cream? Do I apply it by massaging it?

How do I apply eye cream? Do I apply it by massaging it?
you're on the roll
Hi!
No, you apply it by very gently 'patting' into the eye area.
Hope this helps!!
do not rub at all
After having an Elemis facial I was advised by the beautician that you only need a tiny amount on the first two fingertips of each hand and you gently dab around the top of your cheekbone, where it curves under your eye (just before where some people have bags). You shouldn't go any higher than that or you will cause puffiness under your eyes.
Just wipe it over the area with makeup, Then gently wipe the cream and make up off. If make up remains reapply an amount of . It just occurred to me you may not be thinking of make up remover. Eyecream? probably shmear it in your eyelashes that'll get it into your eyes. HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE !
Anything applied around the eye area should be *dabbed* with your ';ring finger';. The skin around the eye is more sensitive and delicate than the rest of the skin on your face. Dab it on, and then lightly dab across the area that you want covered with the product. Try using a light moisturizer specifically for the eye area, too. Remember, gentle, on the face, is best.
No, try not to massage the cream in as most of it will end up benefiting your finger!!
Put some eye cream along your lower eye socket, leave it to sink in for a minute and then with your ring finger gently pat the cream in. Don't put the cream too high up towards your eye as it will travel up during the day/night by itself.
is it medicated eye cream or eye makeup cream?
Apply eye cream by patting starting at the inner corner of the eye and outward around the eye area with your baby finger (little finger). Massaging will tear the delicate tissues around the eye area which will cause wrinkling and loose skin in the future. Eyes are the most delicate part of human body. The area around your eyes is where we see the first glimpse of wrinkles. The skin layer around the eye is almost half as thick as anywhere else on your face. We must treat our eyes with soft hands and avoid rubbing and stretching the area around eyes. For ladies, take care when you apply cosmetics around this area. It is advisable if you use an oil-based cleanser to remove makeup around your eyes.
apply as little pressure as possible. gently pat it on using your ring finger -- that's all you need. the more pressure you apply, the more wrinkles you'll get!
If it is under-eye cream or anti-aging cream, then you would apply it by dabbing it on with your ring finger very gently and then smoothing it over. This is a very sensitive area on your face, and the ring finger uses less pressure. That is what a Mary Kay consultant told me.
Just small blobs alone the upper cheek and bone area of the eyebrow, moisturering into the eyelid whilst closed, with a cotton pad.
directions should come with the one you buy
With your eye creme of choice delicately pat under your eye with your ring finger(it is your weakest finger and won't stretch your delicate eye skin). Start at the edge by your temples and curve under your eye. Follow your bone under your eye. Be careful not to get to close to your eye...Apply morning and night for best results. After you wash your face. Don't rub, it stretches your skin. Dab it on.
NO SWEETIE THE BEST WAY IS TO LIGHTLY APPLY IT ON WITH A FINGERTIP THEN LET SIT UNDER A CUCUMBER
ima professional makeup artist..
so when u apply anything around the eye....
u have to be very gentle..bc if u dont...when years goby ur eyes will Quickly start to get wrinkler...
so gently tapp by ur finger tips..the most finger we use is the ring finger..its the most gentle finger!
Pat it on to your undereye area with your ring finger. Massaging or rubbing it will pull at the delicate skin under your eyes.
If it is a wrikle cream u have to apply through clockwise and anti-clockwise positions
