Worst thing can happen to expired eye cream?

the only number i see is 70102?

can i use it or no?Worst thing can happen to expired eye cream?
It can cause irritation and it can cause a sty (stye). Bacteria LOVES to thrive in warm and moist places. Everytime you open up the bottle of eye cream and dip a cotton swab onto it, bacteria goes in. Moreso when you use your finger to get the product. Even if the cream is in a pump, as bacteria can get in. Ultimately, there's no escape from bacteria whatever you do, unless you live in a climate controlled environment that's free of any germs/bacterias/viruses. (If you haven't gotten a sty or you're not familiar with it, it's a nasty and painful bump on the lids that causes the eye to tear up and sometimes even prevents the eye from opening up. Think of it as a pimple on the lids, sometimes on the lashes, and sometimes it can appear on the water line. How do I know? I talk from experience).

Your best bet would be to throw it away if you're not sure it's expired. Coz that's already it. It's expired. You wouldn't eat anything that's expired, would you? Or if you're not sure, call the manufacturer and ask what that code meant. More than likely, they'll be able to tell you when the product was manufactured. Ideally, liquid cosmetics (make-up and moisturizers) have a span of only 6-8 months, and then it is ADVISABLE to throw it away. Some prolong it, and that's ok in some cases. The expiration date on the packaging means that the product is good until that day IF IT'S LEFT UNUSED/UNOPENED. It doesn't mean that it's going to be on its tip-top shape until that time. Just remember that the skin around the eye area is extremely delicate, so take proper care of your eyes :)Worst thing can happen to expired eye cream?
The worst thing that probably will happen is it will cause irritation to your eye area. I never pay attention to expiration dates on my lotions though, as long as they smell the same and the consistency hasn't changed, then they are probably fine.
just to be safe, i wouldn't. the worst thing would be it probably won't do anything.
